Alma A. Buck

Alma A. Buck, 95, of Genoa, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born March 10, 1915, in Elmore, Ohio, to the late August H. and Ethel A. Whitinger Buck. Alma worked as a waitress and retired from Lake Schools where she worked as a janitor. She loved babysitting, sewing, making quilts, baking cookies, and attending family cook-outs. Alma is survived by her nieces, Rhea Widmer and Sharon Gary Haar, great nephews, Mike Dena and Bruce Glenda McPherson, three great-great nieces, great-great nephews, Zachary Lisa and Zedediah McPherson, Rebecca McPherson, and many other nieces and nephews. Her parents, brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa. A graveside service will follow in Clay Township Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions to the Allen-Clay Joint Fire Dist. #3, Genoa or to the family.
