Alma Delores Snyder Bruning

Alma Delores Snyder Bruning, 78, of Oak Harbor, died Monday, August 13, 2007, in Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. Alma was born April 20, 1929, in Wood County to Deloy and Christina Hagemyer Snyder. She was a 1947 graduate of Wayne High School in Wayne, Ohio; and on August 12, 1950, in New Rochester, Ohio, she married Marvin D. Bruning and he survives.Alma was a hairdresser having graduated from the Toledo Academy of Beauty Culture and retired as a customer service specialist, working at the former Finke Pharmacy and Rite Aide. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor and the Women of the Church. She was also a member of the Late Eight Card Club, the Red Hats Society, and the Election Board of Ottawa County. Her many hobbies included photography, labeling photos, cooking and baking. She loved to write cards and never missed anyone
