Allyn Sewald

Allyn Sewald, age 34, of Sylvania, OH died April 17, 2012 in Toledo. Allyn was born to James and Sandra Sewald on August 3, 1977 in Greeley, CO. A graduate of Greeley Central High School, Allyn received his BA in Wildlife Biology from the University of Northern Colorado where he met his wife, Jessica. Allyn and Jessica married on May 26, 2001 in Colorado and moved to Virginia where they lived from 2001-2003. They moved to Toledo in 2003 where Allyn volunteered at the Toledo Zoo until he was hired there full-time. Allyn loved wildlife and animals and traveled to Borneo, Belize, Africa and Australia. He especially loved his two labs, Zeus and Hera. Allyn is survived by his wife, Jessica; mom, Sandie Sewald; dad, Jim Suzie Sewald; brother, Bryan Monique Sewald; nephew, Anakin and niece, Bryann Sewald; father and mother-in-law, Terry and Debbi Buckman; brother-in-law, Terry Deannea Buckman and their children, Forest, Rain, Samantha, and Shiloh; grandmother, Dorothy Reichert; grandfather, Darl Jane Bates; and grandmas-in-law, Glenda Buckman and Susie Harry Hamilton. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Toledo Zoo. Please use the Anthony Wayne entrance.
