Allan J Kopfer

Allan J. Koepfer, 81, of Maumee, OH passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 in St. Lukes Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 22, 1927 in New Washington, OH to Peter and Mable Ossage Koepfer. Allan was a WWII U.S. Army Air Force veteran. He was employed by the Chrysler Corporation as an Electrician. Allan was a talented handyman and was a member of the American Legion #405 in New Washington, OH, Local 1435 UAW, National Rifle Association and Maumee Senior Center. Allan is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Peggy A. Burleson Koepfer whom he married July 8, 1961; daughters, Alana Koepfer, Bernita Lynn Koepfer and Donna West; sister, Bernita Tomek; grandchildren, Samantha Jason Jaquillard and Kenneth Allan Tanya West; great grandchildren, Emily, Maston and Cody; cousins, Vita, Eileen and Irma; and special companions, Buster, Ramesess and Barrett. Family and friends may visit Sunday from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church.
