Allan W. Brentlinger, 83, of Millbury, died October 14, 2014 at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center. He was born on December 5, 1930 in Walbridge to Daniel (Alyce Faneuff) Brentlinger. Al retired from the former C & O Railroad as a dock foreman after 43 years of service. He and his wife were faithful members of Mainstreet Church. Al married the former Ruby F. Partin in Walbridge on September 8, 1951 and she survives. Also surviving are their children: Eddie (Marian) Brentlinger, Alana (John) Goetz, Brian Brentlinger, Kevin (Connie) Brentlinger, Dana (Ann) Brentlinger, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Al was preceded in death by one grandson. Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) from 4-8 PM Friday. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in The Mainstreet Church, 795 Campus with Pastor Martin Pennington and Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider The Community Crossing of McDowell County West Virginia (www.ccxwv.org)
