Alice May Richardson Wiesenberg

Alice was born in her family’s home in Struthers, OH on March 28, 1932 and passed away January 24, 2012 at the age of 79. Alice moved to Toledo with her parents in 1948 and was a graduate of Scott High School’s Class of 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert on November 18, 2001, her mother and father Edythe and Sydney Richardson and her grandmother Anna May Barker. Alice and Bob were married May 1, 1954 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Toledo. Alice was employed at the Ohio Bell Telephone Company for more than 20 years, retiring in 1987 from the Business Service Center at Ameritech. Alice was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg and for many years was in charge of the Nursery Roll. She was active in Driver’s for Senior Citizens and a volunteer for Lutheran Social Services. Survivors include three sons, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sons: Robert A. (Laurie) Wiesenberg of Johns Creek, GA; Keith (Kathryn) Wiesenberg of Cincinnati, OH; Todd R. (Elizabeth) Wiesenberg of Knoxville, TN. Grandchildren: Robert, John, Corey (Alan) Longenecker, Elizabeth, Michael, David, Mary Katherine, Allison and Conner. Great grandchildren: Breanna and Marissa. Alice’s brother: Richard (Judy) Richardson of Apex, NC and nieces Heather Shea and Jennifer Richardson. Visitation Sunday, January 29th 2:00PM-4:00PM at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home in Perrysburg (419-874-3133) followed by a memorial service at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg on Monday, January 30th at 11:00AM.
