Alice L. Robison, age 77, of Swanton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Alice was born in Toledo on October 13, 1934 to Robert & Alvirda (Thompson) Hill. She married Thomas L. Robison, Sr. on December 26, 1955 and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2000. Throughout her life, Alice served as a secretary working for Rollins Truck Lease, the former Standard Oil Co. and also served as a bus driver for the Byron Michigan School District retiring in 1987. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her daughters, Christine L. (Donald) Cosner of Texas; Tamara L. Ransford of Florida; son, Thomas L. 'Tommy' (Charlotte) Robison, Jr. of Swanton; grandchildren, April L. & Betsy M. Ransford; Shauna M.; Chelsea E. & Taler J. Robison; David R. & Dylan C. Cosner; sister Roberta (Don) Sayler of Toledo. She was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Floyd Thompson; stepsister, Hollis Lewis and sister, Olive Rothman. In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4pm on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 2523 Co. Rd. E, Swanton, Ohio and please bring a dish to pass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
