Alice A. Isett, age 93, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Goerlich Center. The daughter of Steven and Helen Kubicki, she was born December 25, 1923 in Toledo. She was a graduate of Whitney High School. She worked for the American Cancer Society and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Alice enjoyed cooking, baking and adored her dogs. She became a fan of the Phantom of the Opera after she and her husband traveled by train to Toronto to see it for the first time. She also enjoyed listening to music and collecting Hummels. The true light of her life were her granddaughters. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Grant) Jones; granddaughters, Jessica (Chris) Hand, Amanda Still; great grandsons, Keagen, Aidan and Gavin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip; brothers, Donald and Norbert Fritz Kubicki. Friends may visit the family on Sunday at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) from 2-9 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will begin with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 AM Monday followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 2240 Castlewood Dr. Toledo, OH 43613.
