Alice Gartee

Alice Gartee, age 68, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Alice was born in Gatliff, KY to Arthur and Alsace Sexton. Sister Alice spent her life serving others through her ministry, and was co-founder of the Great Light Tabernacle. She was an amazing teacher that touched others lives, by feeding them both spiritually and physically, starting with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother that will be dearly missed. She will forever be in our hearts, every time we remember her angelic voice She is survived by her husband, Paul Gartee Jr. Children: Ron Whitcomb, Rita Nadolny, Paulie Gartee and Roberta Peurie. Grandchildren; Samantha Nadolny, Darr Dakota Whitcomb, Alicia Nadolny, Kevin Pickle, Christian, Anthony, Mackenzie Gartee, Brittany, Brandon, Ariaus Peurie . Great Grand children Amare Audrey Nino. Michelle Paris and Lorie Born Adopted families and all her church family. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 2-9 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Great Light Tabernacle 735 S. St. Clair. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
