Alexa Noel Wasylkowski, 17, died suddenly while on a mission trip to Haiti. She died doing what she loved-serving others as the hands and feet of Christ. Alexa planned to graduate from Addison Community Schools in the upcoming school year. Her love of animals lead her to complete courses to become a Veterinary Assistant. An accomplishment she was very proud of. At school, Alexa was part of the service organization, Key Club as well as serving as Senior Class Secretary. She was on the bowling and golf team as well as being an active Girl Scout. Alexa enjoyed serving others through the Epworth United Methodist Church Furniture Ministry in Toledo for which she volunteered since the age of 10. Alexa attended Rollin Friends Church in Rollin, MI. She was also a volunteer with ReStore for Habitat for Humanity in Adrian, MI. Alexa enjoyed life and brought a smile to everyone she met. She liked to relax at the family cottage on Clark Lake and enjoyed spending ime with the family animals. She enjoyed shopping at garage sales to find bargains to donate to the Furniture Ministry. She was an active member of the Epworth UMC youth group and enjoyed participating in service projects and attending mission trips. Being with family was a great joy for Alexa.
