Albert Allen "Al" Wolfe, age 88, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026. He was born on August 17, 1937, to Albert and Florence (Honsberger) Wolfe.
Al was a 1955 graduate of Perrysburg High School. He enjoyed camping and fishing, as well as bowling and golfing. Al celebrated one of his proudest moments on July 28, 1999, when he achieved a hole-in-one at Oak Harbor Golf Club. His love for golf also took him to Augusta, Georgia, where he attended the Masters Tournament in 2009-an experience he was thrilled to attend. Another memorable adventure came when he caught a marlin while vacationing in Cabo with friends.
Al was an active member of several bowling and golf leagues, as well as the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 712 in Fremont and the International Moose. His sense of community and fellowship was a defining part of his life.
Professionally, Al dedicated many years to Skillcraft Systems, where he worked his way up to the role of superintendent before retiring in 1997. His strong work ethic and leadership left a lasting impression on all who worked alongside him.
Al also loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Al is survived by his beloved wife, Lynne Alyce Wolfe; children, Alan (Connie) Wolfe and Kim (Terry) Michalski; grandchildren, Joshua (Michelle) Wolfe, Jessica (Tyler) Wirick, Stefanie (Eric) Schiffler, Carly (Joey) Chester, Devine (Gabrielle Dixon) Wolfe, and Austin (Ellie Spencer) Wolfe. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Garrett, Trenton, Beckett, Gabby, Lainie, Hayden, Gavin, Teddy, and Kairi. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his sons, Scott Wolfe and John Wolfe; his sisters, Betty, Marjorie, Donna, and Diane; and his great-grandchildren, Josie, Lorlei, and Riggins.
The family would like to thank Al's caregivers Amy, Dina, Cheri and Craig. As well as neighbors, the Wank family, for lending a hand day or night.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm in the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
