Albert James Neill

Albert James Neill, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2010 at Swan Creek Retirement Village. Al was born October 27, 1916 in Worchester, MA to Ruth and James Neill. In 1940 he married Esther Holbrook, the love of his life, and together they raised their daughter, Barbara and son, Bradford. Al served in the Pacific during WWII in the 5th Air Force. Al found much joy in his family. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Gatchel Robert; granddaughters, Kristin Replogle John, Tracy Tunis Will, Erica Silk James; and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther; son, Brad; and brother, Kenneth. Als family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff and caregivers at the Swan Creek Retirement Village for the loving care they provided over the past years. A celebration of Als life will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials be sent to the Swan Creek Life Care Fund, 5916 Cresthaven Lane, Toledo, OH 43614. Arrangements were made through the Walker Funeral Home.
