Alan Reed Studer

Alan R. Studer, age 75, passed away Thursday January 27, 2011 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Born in Toledo, he is the son of Melvin and Violetta. He was a graduate of Woodward High School. He married Ruth Granger Gramza on Sept. 1, 1963 and they had a daughter, Lori, together. Alan was a member of the Scottish Rite and an immediate past president of the Zenobia Arab Patrol. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling to craft shows, and was a member of the Craftsman Guild for over 8 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; children, Denise, Michael Studer, Lori Geahlen; step son, Peter Gramza; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lee. There will be no visitation or services. A graveside service will be announced in the Spring. Arrangements by the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave west of Corey Rd.
