ALAN M. SHEPARD Alan M. Shepard, age 52, of Toledo, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, in his residence, after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 17, 1960, in Sylvania to Alan and Joann (Pranky) Shepard. Alan was previously employed for Brent Industries as a Plant Manager. He married the former Ruth Little on November 17, 2001 in Las Vegas. In his spare time Alan enjoyed collecting guns and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Jennifer Blakemore, Bubba (Rachael) Henry, and Stephen (Kelly) Crews; favorite daughter, Chelsea Crews, grandchildren, Anthony, Cameron, Killian, K.J., Lovie and Dakota; and siblings, Joe and Debbie Shepard. He was preceded in death by his parents and favorite son-in-law, Jeffery Blakemore. Friends will be received from 2-9pm on Friday, May 11, 2012 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) where services will be held on Saturday at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
