Alan Ray Seger

Alan “Opie” Seger, 62, of Swanton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was born in Monroe, MI to Harold and Velda (Schmidt) Seger on November 20, 1959. Opie liked motorcycles, guitars, and especially his car! He would always enjoy his favorite meal, a hamburger and fries, and the safety of his home.

Surviving is his mother, Velda Seger; siblings, Joyce (Mike Deneau) Seger, Leroy (Cheryl) Seger; nephews, Lee Bracey, Brian (Tina) Seger, Jeremy Vanderbroek; great-nephews, Aiden, Brendan, and Mason Vanderbroek; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Seger; and niece, Jodi Vanderbroek.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Whiteford Union Cemetery in Lambertville, MI. Arrangements were entrusted to Walker Funeral Home, Toledo (419-841-2422). Online condolences may be made at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
