Alan Anthony

Alan R. Anthony, age 83, of Elmore, Ohio passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio to Oliver and Thelma (McNutt) Anthony.

On April 6, 1963, in Elmore, Ohio, Alan married Nancy (Weidner), and she preceded him in death in 2010.

After serving in the United States Army, Alan joined UPS as one of the very first employees at the then new Maumee Ohio location, staying with them for 33 years.

Alan had a variety of interests including hunting, fishing, golf, and corvettes. He and the family enjoyed many camping trips over the years, exploring various parks near and far.

Alan is survived by his children, Nikki (Bill) Kieffer and Troy (Sandy) Anthony; grandchildren, Deric Anthony, Ryan (Keera Siers) Schiavone, Jeremy (Caleigh Keller) Schiavone and Cole (Madigan) Anthony; step grandchildren, Nathan (Liz) Kieffer, Traci Kieffer and Ben (Shelby) Kieffer; great grandchildren, Beau Schiavone, Logan Siers, five step great grandchildren; and siblings, Ernie (Barb) Frye, Sharon (Dave) Barnsdale and Darla Dutridge. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Per Alan’s wishes all services will be private.

The family asks that in lieu of memorial contributions, friends and family make time to reach out, connect, and enjoy each other’s company.
