Aili Marie Meyers

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 Aili Meyers - wife, mother, sister, and friend - passed away after a long battle. Aili was born in Toledo in 1971 to John and Sue Hrosko. She grew up in Perrysburg, attending St. Rose and Notre Dame Academy before earning a degree in Special Education from Bowling Green. Aili taught students with special needs in multiple schools in Wood County before deciding to take time to stay home to raise her two boys. Aili was a voracious reader and a passionate quilter and crafter. Her handmade cards for birthdays and holidays were always treasured. Aili is survived by her husband Jamie; her boys Evan and Jay; parents John and Sue; sister Jennifer (Mike); brother John (Jill). Also she is survived by 3 nephews and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to thank all of the caregivers who helped support Aili and them through the last 4 years. Friends may visit the family on Friday, July 29 from 2-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd). A celebration of Ailis life will be take place with a funeral mass at 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Pius X Catholic Church 3011 Carskaddon Toledo, OH 43606. Interment will be held at later date privately.
