Agnes B. “Aggie” McNaull, 93, of Perrysburg, died peacefully at home Monday, June 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born at home in Toledo to Michael and Antonia (Fnasek) Botek on January 15, 1924. On May 10, 1946 Aggie married the love of her life, G. Parks “Bud” McNaull. She graduated from the University of Toledo where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, and worked for over twenty-two years for the Toledo Public Schools as a math and art teacher, before retiring in 1978. She served on the steering committee to select the new math text for the junior high level in the early 1970’s, and wrote Activities Guide to Metrication for Toledo Schools. She was also part of the steering committee that launched All Saints Episcopal Day School, Phoenix, Arizona, still in operation 50 years later. Aggie is survived by her daughters, Susan (Mark) Hreben, Perrysburg, and Macie (Chuck) Turnwald, Waterville, and six grandchildren, Michelle Goodman, of Ojai, California, John Mahr, Jr., of Lexington, Kentucky, Abbie (Tom) Massetti, Perrysburg, Todd (Jaimie) Deye, Maumee, Brian Turnwald, Cincinnati, and Tyler Deye, Cincinnati, and also seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, G. Parks “Bud” McNaull, son, Michael McNaull, and son-in-law, Randy Deye. Aggie was especially proud of her grandchildren, following their various personal endeavors with great interest and praise, as well as their scholastic and athletic achievements. Her grandchildren held her in the highest regard, and with utmost respect of her unique and silent guidance. Aggie was an avid reader, especially enjoying autobiographies and biographies; everything from Thomas Jefferson and Moss Hart, to Steve Jobs. She always valued the power of knowledge as reflected by her continuous reading, learning and personal development. In her later years, unable to continue to read her books due to diminished eyesight, Aggie embraced listening to recorded books offered by the U. S. Library of Congress. All whom loved Aggie dearly will never forget her engaging conversations, endless wit, refreshing humor, classy appearance, and brilliant wisdom.
