Adeline Biker

Adeline L. Addie Biker, 98, of Mayberry Village in Sylvania, died peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Addie was born May 11, 1913 in Toledo to the late Christopher and Mattie Krueger Miller. Her husband, F. Dan Biker, two brothers, Harold and Roy, and sister, Margaret, also preceded her in death. Addie was a buyer for the Lion Store in Toledo for many years. In her free time she enjoyed bird watching and gardening. An independent and caring lady, Addie devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and her loving presence will be deeply missed. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Judy Jim Vischer and Pat Jim Dickey; grandchildren, Daniel Kelli Dessum, Jeffrey Dessum, Chip Deb Dessum and Kari Chad Vaculik; fifteen step grandchildren; great grandchildren, Katelyn, Katrina, Joshua and Ashlyn; one great-great granddaughter; and four nephews. Friends are invited to visit from 2-3 pm, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Memorial Lutheran Church, 3215 Douglas Rd., Toledo, where a memorial service to honor Addies life will begin at 3:00 pm. Pastor Craig Scholl will preside. Memorials are suggested to the church or a charity of the donors choice.
