Adelbert “Al” Buczek, 77, of Lakeside, OH, passed away, Thursday, July 07, 2016, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH, surrounded by his loving family. Al was born December 01, 1938, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Walter and Mary (Goley) Buczek. He was a graduate of St. Edward’s High School in Cleveland. On July 16, 1992, he married Jean E. Oberlin and she survives. Al was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an avid happy boater who was a friend to all. Al was a member of the Port Clinton Moose Lodge #1610 and the Amvets of Sandusky. He was a board member at West Harbor Lagoons and was the chief lawn mower. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Left to cherish his memory: Loving Wife: Jean Buczek; Son: Steve (Kathleen) Buczek; Daughter-in-Law: Barb Buczek; Step-Children: Christine (Tom) Hudson, Mike (Carol) Foster, Jeff (Kris) Foster and Laura (Ron) Tabor; Brothers & Sisters: Walter (Carol) Buczek, Gladys (Ron) Kasab, Robert Buczek, Mary Jane (Bill) Roberts and Ronald Buczek; a loving grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and great-uncle; numerous step-grandchildren and his special faithful friend: Humphrey, his dog. Al was preceded in death by his parents, son: Raymond Buczek and sister-in-law: Angie Buczek.. Visitation will be from 5-8PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton, OH 43452. Funeral services will be conducted by Father Jim Brown at 10:00AM, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the funeral home.
