Wendy Jo Lantz

Wendy Jo Lantz, 54, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Monday, March 02, 2015 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Wendy was born on February 16, 1961 in Oregon, OH, the daughter of Roy C. and Helen L. (Mathews) Walls. On November 06, 2004 in Port Clinton, she married Jeff Lantz and he survives. Wendy worked for the Ottawa County Humane Society for 7 years then she worked as an assistant manager at the Holiday Inn Express. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Husband of 10 years: Jeff Lantz of Port Clinton; Son: Ryan Gray of Port Clinton; Daughter: Alyssa Catri of Toledo; Step-Children: Cassandra Lantz of Streeter, IL, Adrian Lantz of Spring Lake, IL and Nicholas Lantz of Streeter, IL; 2 Grandchildren; Sisters: Leona Till of Port Clinton, Lori Walls and Vicki Spurlock Lewis both of Tennessee and Brother: Roy Walls of Lindsey. Wendy was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be 12-2PM, Thursday, March 05, 2015 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a funeral service conducted at 2:00PM. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, March 06, 2015 at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Wendy may be given to the Ottawa County Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
