Vickie Luchini

On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, Vickie Luchini suddenly passed away at the age of 69. On May 31, 1951, Vickie was born to Blair and Mary Shaffer in Toledo, Ohio. She worked in orthopedics for over 30 years. On July 20, 1973, she married the love of her life, David Anthony Luchini. Together, they raised one son, David Anthony Luchini II. Vickie had a passion for sewing and a love larger than life for her three beautiful granddaughters. She spent plenty of nights sewing up stuffed animals just to see the smiles on their faces. Vickie was preceded by her father, Blair, and her mother, Mary. She is survived by her husband, David; son, Tony (Cara); sister, Arna; nieces, Jennifer and Kimberly; and granddaughters, Victoria, Lucy, and Maci. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home.
