Steven Matthew Phillips

Steven Matthew “Bone” Phillips, 37, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Monday, July 5, 2021. He was born on October 10, 1983 in Sandusky, OH to Mark L. and Martha E. (DeFriece) Phillips, Sr. Bone graduated from Penta Career Center/Oak Harbor High School in 2002. He worked as an auto mechanic and had previously worked for 51 Cycles. Bone also previously worked for Dave Peters Plumbing & Heating and was currently taking classes for HVAC at Terra Community College. He enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Morel mushroom hunting, deer hunting, fishing, canoeing, and was an avid reader. Bone liked attending church at Grace Baptist Church in Oak Harbor and he cherished his kids and his niece & nephew, Markie and Kaylee. Bone is survived by his wife, Shae Marie (Whitfield) Phillips, children, Allyson Leigh Phillips, Dylan Matthew Phillips, and Logan Anthony Phillips, step-children, Adrianna Lynn Hummel and Adam Christopher Myosky, mother, Momma Martha Phillips, and siblings, Mark and Kevin Phillips. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark L. Phillips, Sr., cousin, Tommy Reed, uncle, Tom Reed, and great grandma, Thelma Filson. Visitation for Bone will be Monday, July 12, 2021 from 2-8 p.m., with family present 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. Funeral services for Bone will be conducted by Pastor Rick Bickelhaupt 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Following the graveside committal services the family would like to invite everyone to join them for lunch and continued fellowship at brother, Kevin Phillips home, 1335 Applegate Rd., Oak Harbor.
