Sandra Kay Voss

Sandra Voss, age 81, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2022, at Otterbein Marblehead.  She was born on September 17, 1940, in Mansfield, Ohio to Frank and Velma (Hoffman) Woodworth.  Sandra married Carl Voss on June 25, 1960, and he preceded her in death in 2021.  She was employed for over 17 years at the Port Clinton City Schools, where she was a cook, librarian, and an aid at Jefferson Elementary and Port Clinton High School.  Sandra was a member of Peace Lutheran church in Port Clinton, where she was very active in the Alter Guild, helped with the bereavement meals and involved with the EUHannah Circle.  She and Carl were also proud foster parents to many children. Sandra also was a member of the Port Clinton Elks and enjoyed reading and yardwork.

Survivors include daughter, Denise (Lee) Grimm, Arlington, Tennessee; son, Michael (Melissa) Voss, Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Shawna (Ray) Gallardo, Logan Grimm, Corinne (Anthony) Reyna, Elizabeth Voss, Emily Voss; four great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Sais; brother, Paster Timothy (Sue Ann) Cashen and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son, Carl Dean Voss and sisters, Linda Campfield and Nellie Schell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 900 Jefferson St., Port Clinton, Ohio with the memorial service to follow at 11:00 am in the church.  Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
