Richard L. "Rocky" Watterson

Rocky L. Watterson age 60 of Toledo passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the Toledo Hospital.  Rocky was born in Oregon, OH on August 3, 1961, to Carl R. and Marie D. (Farren)

Spending time with his family was the most important thing to him. He loved his granddaughter's Ava and Carris so much. He won their hearts over with the love that radiated inside of him. He loved cuddling and playing with Carris and playing dolls going to the car wash and enjoying ice cream with Ava the most.

He would do anything and everything for his daughters from coaching softball and basketball teams to making them laugh and smile with his humor and sarcasm. He was The "Rock" of his family and always will be.

Surviving is his loving wife, Angie (Gallos) Watterson; twin daughters, Karlie, and Kasey Watterson; granddaughters, Ava Tarver and Carris Taber; and siblings, Ronald (Donna) Watterson, Pam (Charles) Yeager and Vicki Lawniczak.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.   In addition to his parents, Rocky was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Thomas Watterson and nephew, Aaron Lawniczak.

Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 12 Noon until 5:00 PM.  A celebration of life will begin at 5:00 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to Lucas County Care & Control 410 S Erie St, Toledo, OH 43604.  Online condolences may be shared at walkerfuneralhomes.com .
