Randy Snyder, of Sylvania, died at home November 8th, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer. He was born in Lake Zurich, IL, April 26, 1950, and attended Lake Zurich High School and Grayslake and Harper Junior College. Randy began his sales career in Toledo in 1972 and enjoyed employment at several food/industrial sales companies in the Toledo and southeastern Michigan areas. He was a past president of the former T.A.G.M.R. Toledo Area Grocers Manufacturers Representatives. Randy married Terry Parman on July 2, 1976, and they were blessed with three beautiful daughters. He was a tee ball coach, Eucharistic minister, and past school board president at St. Joseph Church, Sylvania. He was an admirer and devoted follower of St. Francis rescuing many furry four-legged friends over the years. Randys sense of humor and compassion will be greatly missed by all he knew. He loved gardening, painting, cooking, and riding his scooter. He managed his cancer diagnosis as he lived his life, with dignity, determination, and a strong faith.
