Randolph H. Randy Rudes

Randolph Randy H. Rudes, 66, of Martin, Ohio, died Tuesday evening while playing golf at Chippewa Golf Course in Curtice, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 13, 1947 to George H. and Marion H. Bringe Rudes. Randy married Paulette M. Oberhaus in Williston, Ohio on March 8, 1968, and she preceded him in death on December 10, 2009. Randy had worked for Chrysler Corp. for 40 years, starting on the manufacturing line at the Perrysburg Machining Plant and working his way up to an executive position at Chrysler World Headquarters in Pontiac, MI. After his retirement he worked for 3 years at Genoa Bank, retiring in 2012. Randy enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, and playing pool with his friends and family. And as he always said, I hit a home run once. Survivors of Randy include his daughters, Angie Jimerson, Laurie Doug Dangler, MD, Abigail Jeremy King, and Lindsey Tom Milam, mother, Marion H. Rudes, grandchildren, Greg, Tim, Becca, Nick, Evan, and Sarah, sisters, Connie John Moore, Amy Marty Sutter, and his lady-friend, Peggy Streight. He was preceded in death by his father, George Rudes, wife, Paulette Rudes, and sister, Jaquelyn Rudes. A funeral service for Randy will be conducted at 4 PM, Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Zion United Methodist Church, 2212 N. Benton Main St., Elliston, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH 43430 from 2-8 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Interment will be in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, Ohio.
