Pei Ye Chan

Pei Ye Chan, age 91, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2008 at Flower Hospital in Sylvania. Pei was born March 25, 1917 in Canton, China and moved to the U.S. in 1979 after her beloved husband passed away. She settled in Toledo and remained in the area for the rest of her life. Pei was a devoted mother and grandmother and an outstanding housewife. She was very loving, patient and kindhearted and her main concern was raising her children and grandchildren. Pei is survived by her children, Po Yu Chan Mei Mei, Bao Duan Chen Zi Gui, and Bao Sui Chan Carla; grandchildren, Amy Yang, Maria Chan, Sandy Chen, Anna, and Philip Chan, and Tina Chen; great-grandchildren, Jamy and Erica Yang, Allison, Jacqueline, and Josephine Wu; and Ashley and Jessie Wong. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1-8 PM at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am.
