Ola Mae Moore, 87, of Oak Harbor, died Monday, October 17, 2016, at the Genoa Retirement Village. She was born on June 8, 1929, in Fostoria, OH, to Floyd A. and Mary Anne (Fox) Stoner. On June 18, 1950, in Fostoria, OH, she married Earl W. Moore, and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2008. Ola Mae worked as a homemaker and as a sub for the local schools, as well as 10 years at Riverview Nursing Home, where she was a member of the Auxiliary. She helped in various churches with the youth and singing, storytelling, and as a Sunday school teacher. Ola Mae enjoyed gardening, flowers, and canning. Ola Mae is survived by her children: John E. (Connie) Moore of Oak Harbor, Robert D. (Julie) Moore of Biglerville, PA, Mary A. (Dick) Wood of Graytown, and Nancy L. (Lynn) McNutt and Sandra K. (John) Young both of Oak Harbor. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Justin (Katy) Moore, Jordan (Sarah) Moore, Elliot (Lauren) Moore, Evan (Kalie) Moore, Olivia (fiancé, James Dyksterhouse) Moore, Adam (Leah) Wood, Brian (Elaine) Wood, Curtis (Katie) Wood, Derek Wood, Brittany (Steve) Fleckner, Gregory (Joy) McNutt, Bethany McNutt, Joshua Young, Kevin (fiancé, Emily Bast) Young, Steven Young, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Dorotha L. Mengert, and brother-in-law, Fred Mengert. Visitation will be Friday, October 21, 2016, from 2-8 p.m., in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be conducted 1:30 p.m. , Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Zion United Methodist Church, Elliston, OH. Interment will take place in Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia, Ohio, at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions for Ola Mae may be given to Carroll Township E.M.S. or the Arcadia Arboretum.
