Neoma May Hoffman, 95, passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Lutheran Village Wolf Creek. Neoma was born on Christmas day in 1919 to Christ and Emma (Krueger) Tober. A graduate of Perrysburg High School, Neoma grew up on Lime City Road. She married Edward J. Hoffman on April 11, 1942 and together they raised 2 children. They retired in 1983. Edward preceded her in death in 1989. Neoma enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with family. Neoma is survived by her son, Chris (Laraine) of Sanford, NC; daughter, Nancy Ohman (Michael) of Swanton, OH; 4 grandchildren, Brett (Amelia) Hoffman of New Bern, NC, Drew (Kimala) Hoffman of Fruita, CO, Alan (Lydia) Ohman of Columbus, OH, and Emily Ohman of Bellfonte, PA; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Milton Tober. The family would like to thank the staff at Lutheran Village of Wolf Creek, especially Trulaine, Eric, Daina, and LaTonya for their care of Neoma. Friends may call on Thursday, from 4-8:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday. Burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania. The family requests any expressions of sympathy be made to Lutheran Village of Wolf Creek, the Alzheimers Association, or the charity of the donors choice.
