Neil Lindsay

Neil Lindsay, age 95 of Maumee, passed away September 6, 2022 at Fox Run Manor in Findlay, Ohio. He was born October 12, 1926 in Sylvania, Ohio to Stanley and Nina Lindsay. Neil graduated from Sylvania High School and earned his Bachelor in Education from the University of Toledo and taught briefly at the university. He then went to work for the Jeep Corporation for over 40 years, retiring as a dispatcher in 1991. After retirement, he was involved with Meals on Wheels in Lucas county. Neil was an avid outdoorsman and a longtime member of the Sierra Club. He also enjoyed photography and square dancing.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Sandra; brother, Dale Lindsay; and sister, Berdena Szymanski. Surviving are daughters Ashley (Jim) Greer and Dawn Lindsay; and grandchildren, Matthew Greer, Isaac Thatcher and Rachel Landefeld.

Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 3-8 pm where funeral services will be held Monday September 12, 2022 at 9:30 am.
