Marvelous Terry Walton departed this earthly life and into the arms of our heavenly Father on July 9, 2022, at the age of 17. His bright light will never be forgotten.
Born March 5, 2005, Marvelous had a contagious smile right from the beginning and grew up to be a loving, courageous, and strong young man. He was a senior at St. Francis de Sales High School, where he was known for his athleticism and great personality. He had graduation goals of playing college football and owning his own business someday. He was focused, determined, and protective of those he loved.
Marvelous was a starting cornerback for the St. Francis varsity football team and had played basketball his freshman year. Ultra-competitive, he never turned down the opportunity to compete whether in gaming or athletics. You could also find him rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes or Green Bay Packers.
The most important thing to Marvelous was his family. He was a devoted son, great big brother, and a mentor to many. He was always dressed well and loved fashion, especially wearing hats. Marvelous stood out in every way possible and will be missed dearly.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Terrence Walton, Sr. and Meosha Bowman; siblings, Terrence Walton, Jr, Amareon Bowman, Meosha Bowman, Major Walton, Maverick Walton; grandparents, Matthew Sanders, Wendy Bowman, Nathaniel Walton, and Brenda Walton; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins; and nephew, Braxton Walton.
Wake will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W.
