Marie Gregory Buhler

Marie Gregory Buhler, age 97 of Albemarle, North Carolina and formerly of Toledo Ohio died Tuesday October 11, 2016 with her daughter by her side. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Clyde “Pappy” and May (Gregory) Mock. On July 6, 1941, she married Stanley T. Buhler who preceded her in death on May 28, 1985. Marie worked for many years alongside her father at his Bar-B-Que Restaurant located at Airport Highway and Reynolds Road. She enjoyed cleaning, and will always be remembered for that “Little White Bucket” of Murphy’s Oil Soap that she carried everywhere. Her final days were spent with her daughter, Bonnie, and grandson, Christian tucked away in the woods at the end of a dirt road in North Carolina. She will be remembered for her endearing love of animals where she actually spent her final days nurturing a newborn fawn until it was time to release it in September. She leaves behind her son, Mark (Yolanda) Buhler; daughters, Sandra (James) Haube, Bonnie Hinman-Mustafaga and Marcia Sgro; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and May; husband, Stanley as well as her sisters, Lucille Dyer and Jane Keil. Friends will be received on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 5-9 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland, Ohio (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s name to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
