Linda Beth Malsch

Linda Beth Malsch, age 76, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at St. Lukes Hospital.  She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 10, 1942 to Kenneth and Betty (Brown) Fought.   Linda was a graduate of Rogers High School, where she played clarinet in the marching band.  She earned her certification as an Esthetician and was also an administrative assistant for the Toledo Public Schools for over 30 years. Linda grew up in the Toledo area where she met her life-long friend, Valarie Stamp-Parton who introduced her to her future husband, Klaus W. Malsch.  They were married on March 9th of 1962 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, where after that they started a family and raised two children together.  Her favorite times of the year where the Holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas, where she could spend time with her family and close friends.  One of her favorite things to do was giving gifts at Christmas time.  She made it a very special time for all.  Linda was very loved by her family and friends and will be missed dearly. Linda was always in the know when it came to politics.  MSNBC would always be on her tv and she was also a strong advocate for seniors medical rights.  Linda was also interested in UFOs, Aliens and was a believer in life after death.  She loved animals, especially her cat Daisy, was a member of the Eastern Stars, enjoyed traveling and was a University of Michigan fan. Linda is survived by her son, Tim (Barb) Malsch; daughter, Marliesa Liesa (David) Frush; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicolas, Nicole, Jonathan, Cody, Morgan, Jasmine and Logan; sisters, Chris (Tom) Jachimiak, Deb (Bob) Jones and best friend, Valarie Stamp Parton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Klaus Wilhelm Malsch, parents and infant son, Aaron Kenneth Malsch. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 3, 2019 in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Maumee.  Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
