Kenneth Davis, born in Toledo, Ohio peacefully departed this world on January 27, 2024, at the age of 73. A man of few words but an exceptional listener, Ken left an indelible mark on the lives he touched.
Ken's academic journey was one of dedication and accomplishment. With a thirst for knowledge, he earned multiple degrees, culminating in the attainment of a Ph.D. in Psychology from the honors college at the University of Toledo. Ken was co-founder of Innerpathic Process and the Elder for Sacred Circle Native American Church, which was one of his proudest accomplishments. His passion for understanding and aiding others defined his professional life, as he dedicated himself to the noble cause of helping those in need.
Ken's greatest joy in life was his family, whom he cherished above all else. He is survived by his son Josh, daughter Sarah, sister Carla, and brother Jeff and his wife Debbie, as well as grandchildren Jackson and Kennedy. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Deborah. Ken and Debbie got married in 1992 and had an idyllic marriage that ended too soon by Debbie’s battle with breast cancer. They spent their early marriage raising their daughter Sarah. Ken's selfless dedication to providing the best life possible for his family was evident in every sacrifice he made.
A man of simple pleasures, Ken found solace in spending quality time fishing with his son and passionately cheering for the Ohio State football team. His love for the sport was only matched by his fervent critique of the referees, a sentiment expressed with the only swear words ever heard from him – a testament to his unwavering loyalty to the game.
In the end, Ken's legacy lies in his selflessness and boundless love for others. His quiet strength, compassionate nature, and commitment to family and community will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave throughout his life.
