Kenneth Friend

KENNETH R. FRIEND Kenneth Friend, age 67, of Delta, Ohio passed away on May 24, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born in Toledo on May 12, 1946 to Claude & Lenora (Sanderetta) Friend. He married Linda (Griesinger) Johnson in Toledo on August 16, 1995. A Vietnam Marine Corps Veteran, Ken worked as a Service Manager for Walters Travel Trailers in Swanton. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his loving wife, Linda; step-children, Melody (Steve) Harris; Becky Johnson; Crystal (Matt) Stout; grandchildren, Abigail, Devon, Collin and Grant Harris, brothers, Claude (Dickie) Friend, Jr.; Jerry Friend; and sisters, Shirley (Joyce) Twigg; Phyliss (Jeannie) Marksch (Frank); Carolyn (Pinky) Twigg and Cathy Blossom. He was preceded in death by sisters, Carla and Patricia Friend. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 3-8 pm Wednesday where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday May 30, 2013. Burial will follow at Dutch Ridge Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family of Kenneth Friend.
