Kathleen Marie Sherwood

Kathleen "Kathy" Marie Sherwood, 69, of Holland, OH passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Toledo Hospital. She was born in Toledo, OH on May 24, 1952 to Lewis and Lourena (Brockhoff) Graham. She graduated from Waite High School in 1970 and also married her husband, Michael, in 1970 one week later. She attended Owns Community College later in life to pursue a degree in Accounting. Kathy had a great love of sewing, traveling, cooking, Sci Fi movies, The Ohio State Buckeyes and was an avid card player and reader. Kathy's world revolved around her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was extremely close to her children and her house was the most loved place for all of her grandchildren to gather in to watch the silly Sci Fi movies or spend an evening playing games. Kathy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Michael Sherwood, her 3 children: Amy Seretsky, Brian Sherwood and Michelle Green, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as her 2 brothers and many lifelong friends. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on January 15, 2022 at the Eagle's Club (658 Lime City Road, Rossford, OH) from 2-8pm. Her celebration will also include a euchre tournament in her honor starting at 4pm with the proceeds going to the American Stroke Association. Her burial will be private. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Toledo Hospital for all of the care and support that they provided to not only Kathy but her entire family in that difficult time. They truly went above and beyond our expectations. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations for the American Stroke Association for those that would like to honor Kathy.
