Joseph E. Finch

Joseph E. Finch, 86, of Perrysburg, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at his home. He was born March 2, 1931 to Richard and Leora Finch in Perrysburg, Ohio. He married Shirley Stark and together they raised their family. Joseph honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked in the heat treat department at the Dana Corp where he retired after over 30 years of service. Left to cherish his memories are his companion, Lola; children, Beckie A. Kwis, Bradley E. (Roxanne) Finch, Melanie K. (Joe) Myrice, Aaron M. Finch and Amy S. McCracken; twelve grandchildren, William Nuding, Noah Finch, Jonathon Curtis, Jessica Myrice, Courtney Myrice, Andrew Finch, Kailey Kowalski, Matthew Finch, McKenna Finch, Hailey McCracken, Kylee McCracken, MacKenzie McCracken; six great grandchildren; and three siblings, Leo Finch, Robert Finch and Thomas Finch. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Finch; parents, Richard and Leora Finch; and three siblings, Donna Jean Finch, Richard Finch and William Finch. Following Joseph’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Memorials in Joseph’s name may be made to the Wood County Humane Society.
