Joan G. (Wilder) Colberg, 83, of Perrysburg, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at her home. She was born in Edgemont, South Dakota on May 20, 1935 to Arthur and Pearl (Rounds) Wilder. Joan was married to Ernest E. Colberg, who preceded her in death. Before retirement, Joan worked for Chicago Rawhide for over 30 years. She was also the small business owner of Crafts Mall in Perrysburg where she showcased her crochet talent. She also was a member of the Rebekah’s, served as a crossing guard for Perrysburg schools, and served as the nursery attendant at St. Timothy Episcopal Church for many years. Joan was an avid gardener and loved reading. Joan is survived by her loving family; daughters, Denise Hilbe, Robyn (Isaac Charles Mazique, Jr.) Pittner; grandchildren, John (Allison) Pittner, Heather Hilbe, Elizabeth Pittner; great-grandchildren, Brody and Claire Pittner; sister, Alrene (Robert) Schmitt; half-brother, Allen (Margo) Wilder; and step-siblings, Donna (Richard) Bruns, and Bill (Carol) Nish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; sister, Jane Dishman; and parents. Friends will be received on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH 43551 (419-874-3133). A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, IL.
