Joan Bridgman

MARGUERITE (RICK) BRIDGMAN Joan M. Bridgman, 79, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born July 18, 1931 in Moline, Ohio to Herbert L. and Jessie H. (Baker) Meeks. Joan married Richard Bridgman on November 23, 1974 In Millbury, Ohio and he survives. Joan worked as a computer operator and programmer for Ohio-Michigan Paper Company for 31 years. She loved to operate her computer daily, do crossword puzzles and enjoyed watching her soap operas. Along with her husband Richard, Joan is survived by her children, Vicki Rosie, Scott (Kathy) Gressler, Kathy (Gil) Bastubee and Rick (Denice) Bridgman; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Geri) Rick, Stan (Chris) Rick and sister, Doris Haydell. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Bridgman, parents, brother, Jack Rick and sister, Carole Richars. Per Joan’s wishes, there will be no services and burial will be private.
