Jeremy James Klotz, 36, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital with his loving parents and sister by his side. He was born in Toledo to Daniel and Pamela (Toska) Klotz on May 26, 1983. Jeremy enjoyed the great outdoors and working with his hands. He was knowledgeable about electronics and would always make himself available to help his parents and friends through their electronic troubles. He loved camping, fishing, remote control cars, guns, and watching NASCAR. Recently, he started to take an interest in becoming more healthy; he began to work out and even cook healthier options. Jeremy is survived by his parents, Dan and Pam; sister, Stacie (Lauren Porter) Eddings; niece, Madison Eddings; uncle, Jim Toska; maternal grandparents; James and Garrie Toska; paternal grandfather, Jack Gentry; honorary grandparents; Bud and Sue Case; service dog, Izzy; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and countless loving and supportive friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Trudy Gentry; and paternal grandfather, David Klotz. Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623 (419-841-2422) beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jeremys name may be made to the family to assist with funeral costs. Any additional proceeds will be donated to benefit a non-profit organization of the families choice. Jeremy was not a fan of wearing a suit and tie, so please feel free to come honor his life dressed comfortably.
