Jeffrey Allen Jenks

Jeffrey Allen Jenks, 60, of Toledo, OH passed away on January 27, 2024 at Park Terrace. He was born on April 4, 1963 and his parents were John B. and Patsy Lee (Borgstadt) Jenks.

Jeff was an excellent football player and played in high school, class of ‘81 at Sylvania Northview. He also enjoyed watching football, particularly The University of Michigan, where his late father, Jack, played. Jeff was a fan of classic rock music, especially The Who. He loved going to Wildwood Metro Park to have lunch with his late brother, Jason. As a man of faith that was instilled in him by his parents, he would walk to church to attend services and worship. He will be remembered for his brilliant mind and despite the challenges life threw at him he always had a smile and a positive attitude.

He is survived by his sister, Julie Ann Greenlee; nephews, Chase (Cassie) Greenlee, Chad (Alyssa) Greenlee and Charles Greenlee; sister-in-law, Marla B Jenks; and nephews, Cooper Jenks, Mason Jenks and Parker Jenks. He is preceded in death by his father, John B. Jenks; mother, Patsy Lee (Borgstadt) Jenks; and brother, Jason A. Jenks.

The family wishes to extend a special acknowledgement to Amy Carroll, who loved and cared for Jeff as a brother, as well as a thank you to all of the nurses and staff that took such great care of Jeff.

Funeral services will be private.
