James F. Leite

James Jim F. Leite, 81, of Maumee, OH passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in the Toledo Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 10, 1927 in Fremont, OH to Paul and Imelda Tischler Leite. Jim worked as an Engineer with O-I Company for many years. An avid wood worker, Jim enjoyed making furniture and was also a very good painter. He was a member of the Maumee Elks and O-I Club. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Myrna Brennen Leite whom he married July 19, 1952; granddaughters, Heather Michael Wise, Lindsay James Fisher and Cortney Coburn; great grandchildren, Michael and Jasmyn Wise and Parker and James Fisher; son-in-law, Tom Coburn, brothers Bill Ruth Leite and Tom Ellen Leite. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughters, Laura Leite and Martha Coburn; son, Jimmy Leite; grandson, Jared Hassen and brother, Don Leite. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, December 30, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 Conant Street, Maumee. Funeral services will begin Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maumee.
