Jack Walter Everingham, age 86, of Maumee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Jack was born in Toledo, OH on July 19, 1926 to Harold and Eunice Hinkle Everingham. He was employed as a meat buyer at the former Seaway Foodtown for over 30 years. Jack was a WWII Navy veteran and served on the USS Courtland. He was a member of Maumee United Methodist Church. Jack enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, boating, traveling and working in his yard. Surviving is his loving wife and best friend, Karen S. Everingham; daughter, Jackie Dennis Schwiebert; sons, Brad Cheryl Everingham, Greg Kim Everingham; stepsons, Ronald Stephanie Krueger and Robert Crystal Krueger; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a sister, Nancy Buzz Pilcher. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Sullivan, Lloyd Everingham, Lynn Everingham and Sophia Oswald. Family and Friends will be received on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Maumee United Methodist Church, 405 Sackett St., Maumee from 10:00 am until the time of Services at 11:00 am.
