Jack M. Dr. Kenyon

Dr. Jack M. Kenyon age 94, passed away Thursday Dec. 23, 2010 at Lake Park Comfort Care. The son of Charles and Lena Kenyon, he was born in Brantford, Ontario on Dec. 27, 1915. Jack was a medical officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force serving in Canada, England, North Africa and Italy from 1940 to 1945. Jack practiced medicine for over forty years as a psychiatrist. In Toledo he was the Director of the Mental Hygiene Center. During his private practice he served as chief of psychiatric services at St. Charles Hospital and later at Toledo Hospital. He was a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Psychiatric Association. He is survived by his daughters, Jean Oldham, Wendy Kenyon, Brenda Kenyon, Julia Kenyon; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, daughter, Linda Dorrell. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Christ Presbyterian Church in the Chapel. Arrangements by the Walker Funeral Home 419-841-2422.
