Iris Irene Pappas

Iris “Brandy” Irene Pappas, 91, of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio, with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 16, 1932 in Oak Harbor, the daughter of the late Henry and Olive (Floro) Neatfeld.

Brandy was a lifelong member of the Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church. Always interested in current events, she was proud of the years she worked as the publisher of the Houston Community Newspaper from 1976 through 1985, as well as working for WRWR radio station and the Port Clinton Daily News.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Molly) Case; daughter, Rebecca Davis; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be held at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 11 am until Funeral Services at 1 pm with Pastor Deron Fourman officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
