Gary L. Scott, Jr., age 35, of Perrysburg, died suddenly on January 25, 2022, due to injuries sustained in a tragic snowmobile accident in Wood County. He was born July 29, 1986, in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Ohio in 2018.
Junior was a welder with Tech Dynamics and operated RG TV Adventures with business partner, Robert Studva. Together they created outdoor adventure videos, often of fishing excursions. Gary always felt the “need for speed” and lived life in full throttle all the time, packing many experiences into his 35 years. He loved racing remote control cars as a youth and anything fast as an adult.
Gary was an avid outdoorsman himself, especially enjoyed fishing, and made his own custom fishing lures. He found his greatest joy in spending time with family and friends, particularly his sister, Kaleigh, and beloved niece, Kelsey. Junior took in as many of Kelsey’s softball games as he could and was extremely loving and protective. He also spoke with his father in Arizona every day, often more than once. Junior had a gregarious, larger than life personality and always looked out for the underdog. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his father and stepmom, Gary Senior and Cheryl Scott; grandfather, Ronald Lopack; sister, Kaleigh Clarahan; niece, Kelsey Clarahan Scott; aunt, Letha Scott; uncle, Ron (Karol) Lopack; cousins, Leahann Dale and her son, Trent; Jon Dale and his daughter, Maddux, and Melody Lopack and her children, Oliver and Alice Morrice; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Renee Lopack; grandparents, Norma and Gilbert Scott and Ruthann Lopack.
