Frederick S. Rev. Teets

Rev. Frederick S. Teets passed from this life on Sunday, December 16th at 4:10 p.m. Frederick Scott Teets was born February 8, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late Joseph Teets and Louise Schopp. Rev. Teets became a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church International in 1959. He was an evangelist for several years, a pastor at churches in Michigan, Ohio, and New York, was a missionary in Uruguay S. A. and retired from the pastorate at New Life Apostolic Church in Ozone Park, New York in 2010 after serving in that role for 26 years. He was an honorary General Board Member of the United Pentecostal Church up until the time of his passing. On October 20, 1962 he was united in marriage to his loving wife of 56 years, Jenny Lee Jordan, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Jonathon (Sunny Yang) Teets, Anthony Teets, Jennifer (Henry) Choconta, Julia (David) Bucy; seven grandchildren, Andres, Mark, Michael, Phoebe, Angelica, Gwendolyn, Victor; his brother Joseph Teets and sister, Kathy Dicks. Rev. Teets was preceded in death by his parents. The viewing will take place on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at First Apostolic Church, 5701 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43623. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at the church with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
