Ellen J. Williams

Ellen J. (Carroll) Williams, of Walbridge, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Physicians Regional Hospital in Naples, Florida. She and her husband were spending the month there. Ellen was born on December 19, 1942 to Jeremiah and Bonita Carroll. Ellen was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She worked as a receptionist for many years and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church for over 40 years and was a member of Alter and Rosary Sodality and G.I.F.T. Ellen is survived by her husband, Bob; and sons, Bradley and Chris (Desiree). She adored her grandson, Landen and granddaughter, Cassidy; they both called her Nana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeremiah and Bonita Carroll; sisters, Mary Gruppi, Kathleen Palicki, and Margaret Carroll. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Church, 300 Warner Street, Walbridge, where a Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ellen’s name may be made to St. Jerome Church. Arrangements were handled by Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Walbridge (419-666-3121).
