Edward Keck

Edward R. Eddie Ray Keck, age 75 of Maumee passed away at his residence on Thursday March 17, 2011. He was surrounded by his wife of nearly 30 years, his children and good friend and nurse, Connie Hill. He was born in 1935 in Sylvania to Clarence and Hazel Keck. He worked at the General Motors Hydramatic Plant for 36 years and retired in 1997 and his hobbies in retirement were gardening and flying RC airplanes. Edwards greatest love was the Lord Jesus Christ; he was an active member of the Monclova Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Keck. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Janys; children, Gary Nanette Keck, Terri Haina and Sheri Kenny Weasel; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Betty Majot, Rich Ginny Keck, Ronnie Donna Keck, Shirley Ray Staniszewski, Larry Sue Keck, Karen Weller, Rick Karen Keck and Vicki Dean McCollum Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 2-8 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 AM in Monclova Road Baptist Church, 7819 Monclova Road Monclova, Ohio 43542 with interment to follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Monclova Road Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 River Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
